What I Offer
I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of speech sound disorders, language delays, fluency, and social communication deficits.
- Speech sound disorders: delays in the areas of phonology (patterns of sound errors) and/or articulation (sound substitutions, omissions, or distortions)
- Language disorders: delays in syntax and morphology (grammar, word order), semantics (vocabulary), and late talkers. Delays in receptive and expressive language also fall in this category.
- Fluency disorders: can include various forms of stuttering.
- Social communication deficits: difficulties in relating socially with others and/or engaging in appropriate conversational skills.

- Phone consultation | 15-20 minutes | FREE
If you’d like to find out more about Bumblebee Speech, and/or inquire about whether your child may have communication needs, this is a good place to start. - Screening | 15-30 minutes | $50
Includes 15-30 minutes of direct/indirect observation and/or parent interview. Includes a brief report indicating recommendations whether further assessment is warranted. The screening fee can be applied toward assessment. - Evaluation | 30-120 minutes | $150-$325
Includes formal and/or informal assessments of the child, parent/caregiver interview, and a written report with recommendations. - Individual therapy | 40 minutes | $75
Includes 5-10 minutes of interaction with parent/caregiver to discuss progress and suggested follow-up activities to implement at home.
Payments
Bumblebee Speech is a private pay office which means I accept the following forms of payment at the time of service: cash or credit cards/HSA car through Ivy Pay, a HIPAA secure app. Many insurance plans have generous out of network benefits available. Please note that families are responsible for familiarizing themselves with their insurance benefits, as well as reimbursement policies as they vary widely.
A receipt/superbill/statement can be provided upon request that you can then use to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement for out of network benefits.
